Our family continues to be on the upswing. I am feeling a bit better than yesterday (which isn’t really saying much) but can be functional with medication. The forefeast is the period of preparation before a feastday. The forefeast of Nativity begins on Dec. 20, and we begin singing special hymns. We’ve already begun singing in the services about the three wise men beginning their journey. Attending services and hearing the hymns is the best way to prepare for the feast itself.
